No. It's a common myth that it does, but it's just not true. Genetics and stress are things that can contribute.

NO...
The fact that consuming chocolate causes acne is a myth that has been around for years. Doctors and scientists after considerable research have refuted the old myth that chocolate causes acne. Why is that?
A chocolate candy bar is innocent, but is blamed regularly. Other foods that are blamed include pizza, potato chips and dairy products. No foods have been proven to cause acne. If a person maintains a healthy diet and consumes healthy vegetables and fruits, acne can be prevented.

No, that is a myth.
Acne is due to the action of bacteria on the skin, not due to food or caffeine or anything else like that.
It is considered an abnormal response to normal levels of the male hormone testosterone. The response for most people diminishes over time and acne thus tends to disappear, or at least decrease, after one reaches their early twenties. There is, however, no way to predict how long it will take for it to disappear entirely, and some individuals will continue to suffer from acne decades later, into their thirties and forties and even beyond. Acne affects a large percentage of humans at some stage in life.

No, not as much as you think it does. It is possible. But the foods you eat don't contribute to your face. The only thing is nuts like almonds and cashews. But then again it is only a MINIMAL effect on your face. Trust me, I've been to the Dermatologist and asked the same thing. So no, the foods you eat don't really impact your acne.

Dear Curious,
This is a vicious lie, possibly spread by the fruit-and-vegetable industry and abetted by their allies in the vanilla lobby. The truth is, there is no evidence of any chocolate-in, pimples-out reaction. In fact, two separate studies have purportedly disproved the link.

nope the dermatologists have proven that food is not a direct link to acne but its still not good for your over all complexion

I don't think it does. I ate lots of chocolate in my teens and my skin was never any worse than it was when i wasn't eating chocolate. just avoid oily, greasy foods, things like that.

FALSE

MEDICAL STUDIES SHOW THAT DIET-INCLUDING CHOCOLATE, PIZZA, AND FRENC FRIES- RARELY AFFECTS ACNE.
IF YOU FIND CERTAIN FOODS CONSISTENTLY MAKE YOU BREAK OUT WITH ACNE, IT'S COMMON SENSE TO AVOID THEM. FOODS WITH HIGH LIDINE CONTENT, SUCH AS SHELFISH OR SEAWEED, MAY CAUSE FLARE-UPS OF ACNE.
