for caucasian hair. I know I want a ceramic one. I need one to create a new look I'm doing. What's a good one (Brand) without breaking the bank? Thank you.

Ceramic or Tourmaline are both awesome. If you buy an iron by Babylis it will last you forever and you can order these from the company. Just check the internet for the listings.

chi is super expensive, so that person is a dumbass.

the brand "hot tools" is great on the wallet. i get mine from a professionals only store, but i'm sure you can get them online. you don't need a ceramic iron. look for a marcel iron as opposed to a spring iron - they're much easier to use with some practice.

also - NEVER USE A WET-TO-STRAIGHT IRON! YOU WILL FRY YOUR HAIR! stop being lazy and blow dry.

Actually I recently bought a $107 straightener at a salon- and i really regret it. the best straightener i've ever had was Remington: wet to straight. Honestly its the best and i have curly curly hair and it works like a miracle.
