what is the aprox. peak wattage of this amplifier?

Peak wattage is meaningless as an amp rarely ever reaches peak and when it does, it's only for about 1/10 of a second.

RMS watts is what you really need to be concerned with as this the the nominal wattage an pushes.

go with rms, nominal, or continuous ratings and the different ohm loads. that's what matters. peak power ratings are really nothing more than a gimmick to get ppl to buy. that's why your better companies usually list their rms ratings and thats it.
