We had to pull out all of the carpet in our house a few months ago. We have been living on the concrete floors for a while and have noticed a dust problem. Is the dust comming from the concrete and is it a health issue?

I would put down garage floor paint. That is what I did in our basement. That keeps the dust down.

When you pull up carpet, you will encounter some dust, especially if the carpet is old. Vacuuming will control the dust issue. You will also notice more dust and debris on a floor as opposed to a carpet because the carpet traps the dust and debris. I wouldn't worry too much about the dust, unless you are allergic. Keep vacuuming as much as needed to control it.
