i always thought about taking on Christianity, but i have sum issues' with the religion, I'm lead to believe that it is a religion of peace love and harmony to forgive the bad people of this world and love everybody, but why is there a place called hell why do Christians banish people who will not except Christ to hell, why the threats to these people, god gave us free will, but why would god make up such a place as hell ( or god never really made that place up it was humans that made hell to exist to scare people into believing they will go there just to force them to join there religion) WHY THE THREATS when supposing Christianity is a religion of love peace and harmony for everybody, why would i want to be a Christian when they make threats to other people, because to me making threats to people is the most evil form of abuse and undermining

They will attempt to tiptoe around this issue. You make an excellent point. You can't reconcile the two different points (Hell AND harmony/love/peace). And they say that Islam is a violent/mean religion. Right!

You do believe or you wouldn't believe that there is a Hell. You are obviously scared and you should be. Hell is a scary place! It's not a threat it's the truth.
Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:27-29 (in Context) Matthew 10 (Whole Chapter)
Take it or leave it. If God isn't real and what he promises isn't real then you have nothing to lose, but if he is real then you only gain everlasting life. Deal or no Deal?
Choose what you will. And hey, if you are serious about your question and you really want to know about hell then you'll ask a pastor. Then you can make an educated decision about your future life. I will pray for you for wisdom, knowledge and for a revelation of who our God is.
Be Blessed and Rejoice in the Lord!

I understand because Christianity is very corrupt, they claim that God is the highest representative of Love but yet still they speak of hell fire! But the bible does not teach of a place of burning torment forever and ever for those who do bad, if what Christianity say is truth well well imagine this, if a human would not put his children hand in fire because he did something wrong, how dear they undermine God and say these things, rather the bible teaches about how much he loves us, why adam and eve were punished. The word hell in the bible means death, the bible does not teach about if someone goes on to live you go on and on in torment, rather it alks about being conscious of nothing, it is as if you are in a deep sleep without dreams. The dead cannot hurt us, they do not feel, they do not watch over us. If it is that the dead lives on then the bible will ne contradicting itself because if you go on living on, there is no need for what the bible teaches is a ressurrection. And the bible teaches of the ressurection. This is the only means you can see life again(only if you really knw the truth about God(Jehovah is his name found in Psalm:83:8, Jesus is his son), God tells us in the bible about who he is, what he wants from us, why he does and why the world is how it is,and what he's going to do about it! He wants us to get to knw him. By the way the best thing to help you is to ask for a WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH BOOK ! this book is based on the scriptures and what it really teaches(you need the bible to study it, just for u to be sure there is no lies in it, use ur own bible! You will see the truth that the bible teaches) I'm one of Jehovah's Witnessess and you can ask them 4 1 if ther in your area and ask them to study with you, IT WOULD BE THE BEST DECISION U EVER MAKE, AND THEY ARE VERY VERY FREINDLY AND KIND!)

Actually everyone will receive the gift of the Resurrection. There will be varying rewards given after judgment day based on how we live our lives, but our Father in heaven reserves hell for only the most heinous of creatures. Those that do not accept the gospel of Jesus Christ but still live good lives will still receive a good reward but not the highest. Those that profess to be Christians but live hypocritical lives will be even worse off from the non believers.

truly, Judaism does outdate Zoroastrianism through a minimum of 1000 years. Jews do not extremely have a idea of heaven and hell, that is extra like returning for your author. Zoroastrianism in common words has some hundred thousand followers, thats why it isn't huge-spread as a international faith. although, maximum Zoroastrians might want to be cutting-edge in Iran, and they are given probability-free practices less than the regulation (although I nevertheless imagine there is a few persecution, that may be unlawful). also, human beings of the e book extremely in common words refers to Jews, Christians, and Muslims because their texts percentage an similar divine source, although Islamic rulers have prolonged them this identify on celebration because of their monotheistic view. And to ifoyo. that is a shame that Christians hate on Islam a lot, after we provide the utmost appreciate to Jesus, because we view him as a respected Messenger of God. it would want to be argued from costs interior the Bible that Muhammad develop into foretold through Jesus, as well. to assert that the note of God is inaccurate...nicely if thats no longer blasphemy then i do not comprehend what that is. also, on the time the Qur'an develop into printed...it gave women human beings through a strategies the most rights than any women human beings loved international huge on the time. both men and women human beings have obviously defined roles interior the Qur'an..and many Muslim international locations have nevertheless upheld those. also...some Muslim international locations have had lady leaders. Pakistan may be an celebration. even as has the U. S. had a woman as president?

Why do you need to accept it? Christianity is a global cult, nothing more-And spends too much time advocating self hatred and loathing of others.
if you have a faith in a God, its a very personal thing- your conection to god is your business-Its from your heart to god- You dont need a church to validate your faith. Religions are man made institutions designed to control people and stifle independent thought..
What Jesus preached- and what the christian church preaches are 2 very different things.
To hell with Christianity- keep your faith, if you have it, a personal one on one realtionship with God. Religion was invented by mankind..
Religions are also magnets for mentally ill people-They are bad news, and any religious nut who insults you for your beleifs are revealing their own mental health issues...

It seems to me like you are extremely uninformed about Christianity. Generally when you know very little about something you shouldn't jump to conclusions because more likely than not you'll be wrong. Try opening a book or asking a Christian before coming on yahoo answers where you will most likely get the vast majority of your answers from biased, uninformed, closed minded people that are trying to push their own ideology on you rather than give you anything that comes close to answering your question.
