It would be nice but no you are not required to...maybe steer some appetizers their way.

Yes, you feed them. You also feed the videographer and your officiant.
If you can afford a "rather expensive sit down meal" AND a band AND a photographer, I'm sure you can afford an extra 6 plates at your reception.

You DO have to provide meals for them. Especially the photographer, who is having just as long of a day as you are and needs some food too. It doesn't have to be same meal, though, and a lot of reception sites will make extra food anyway. Be warned, though. If you tell these vendors that they won't be getting the food they expect, then you will not get the quality of services that you expect. If you want to cut the numbers down, do you really need two videographers for a wedding of only 75 people?

Speak to the cater.... Mine feeds the Help after they feed all the guest... sounds terrible but they get the leftovers but it's free for me. Most places will feed them for free..... don't worry they won't eat with your guest. They normally have the band eat somewhere else. The photographer usually just has a little snack since they need to be taking pics the whole time.

Are you inviting them to play and take pictures at your wedding and then expect them to take go out for dinner while you eat?? Next, you'll wonder why your pics got lost.
C'MON be serious. If you can afford a rather expensive sit down meal for your friends and family, how can you NOT invite the band and photographer???

I know some photographers who have a meal built into their contract.
Certainly you should plan to feed them, whether it is the same meal as your guests, or a pizza in the kitchen!

yes- you need to offer them a meal. but you don't have to offer the same meal you are giving your guests.
most caterers have a "box lunch" type meal which you can purchase for DJ/ band members/ photographers etc.
Hope this helps!

In reference to dinner being built into the fee, check your contract with these people. You do need to feed them, they will be working hard to making your wedding day beautiful for you, and generally do not have the time to go anywhere else to eat during their long day.

Speak to your caterer, they usually have special plates for your service people that cost less than $20. But yes you have to feed them all.

Yes, they all need to be fed. Generally they just have the main meal (not entree or dessert).
