Should i make the move and call him? read details...?

I am14 years old,in garde 9 and i like a guy in garde 11.We have known eachother for 3 months now.We usually talk at school and chat online.Since the first day we met it seemed like he was interested in me but he never made a move cuz of his ex gf.It wasn't too long ago when he got over her and started to flirt with me.I guess he is really shy cuz he usually talks more online. Everytime i see him at school,he comes up to me and gives me a hug(and sometimes kisses me on my cheeks as well).He is really sweet.He called me once just to ask me random things about the school hours.2 weeks ago he told me that he had feelings for me and wanted to hang out with me alone.Then he asked me to call him but i never did.He keeps asking me to call him but i want him to call me.He says" i asked u to call me first and i like to recieve calls better".I told him that I'll call but do u think I should be the one calling?I think he wants to plan a date or ask me out but i dont know y he cant call me himself

I think if you told him you would call, you should call. Otherwise he will think you are not worth your word.

Like you pointed out he is really shy. He wants to know that you are interested in him. He thinks if he calls you and asks you out you might reject him. Since he recently broke up rejection is the last thing he can deal with. By asking you to call him he is making sure you like him too. He knows if you call him then he can comfortably ask you out because the chances of rejection are way slimmer since you called him. You are giving him the green light by making the call. if you don;t call he may never ask you out. Once you make this one move he will feel more comfortable and will make the moves in the future but you do need to make this first one so he feels more comfortable. It also shows that he has fear and is insecure which raises a red flag. You need to be okay with the fact that he is shy and scared and if you are okay with that and really like him then you should definitely call him.

Oh my gosh i am very impressed by the fact that you've stood your ground. I'm one of those that waits till the guy calls too. I think it is proper for the guy to call the girl, not saying that if the relationship goes further you shouldn't call him every once in a while but hes the one who asked you on a date therefore he should call you and set it all up. STAND YOUR GROUND!! your doin good!

Call Him! remember guys are less complicated then us We tend to stress out on stuff that has never even crossed Their minds.He already asked u to call him. So he thinks he has made the first move, so my advise is to call him before he moves on.
