You probably can't. Perhaps if you got a job at XM you could get a free subscription. Other than that, you could try calling and say you are going to cancel and go to Sirius. They will probably offer you a retention plan which would at least lower your rate, but you might be able to fanangle a few free months out of it, too. Sirius offers a "free" subscription. You pay for a lifetime sub once and it's good for the life of that unit and can be transferred 3 times. Occaisionally I see radios on eBay with a lifetime sub but you have to trust the seller is really selling you a radio with a lifetime sub and not just one with a 1 year prepaid sub.
