I honestly wouldn't cut it all the way to your shoulders. i would compromise for a little but I'm telling you if you cut all that hair off your going to regret it in the future. Did they tell you you cant have the part if you dont cut your hair? cause I'm sure they would be willing to compromise

Well, it is a little long...most hair that long isn't healthy. I don't think it's fair that you have to cut your hair off for a play. I'd suggest about 4 inches past the shoulder as a good cut and invest in a good wig! If you have to cut your hair...don't do it at once...go in 3 inch intervals...it will be easier to go through. The other option is to do locks of love...you could make a child who doesn't have hair very happy...it's up to you. And by the way, school plays aren't really a big deal (no offense).....don't give up your hair for it.

Have you considered donating to "locks of love"? If you cut off more than 10 inches of non-colored hair they can use it to make wigs for children who don't have hair due to cancer and other diseases. If you keep it that long, you will need to consider the long term effects of neck strain. You probably get headaches, too.

first of all you need to find a style that defines you. purchase a few hair magazines to see what type of syles your tasting. seems like the layered look is in these days, and last but not least..... make sure you find a good stylist that knows what she doing far as the correct products for you hair, as well as cutting tecniques. ain't nothing worse than a B.A.B (*****-azz-beautician) doing your hair !!! Good Luck!!!

once i had hair that went down almost to my butt and i got tired of having it so long that i just cut it. If you really wanted that lead role then you should be happy to cut your hair or do whatever it takes to get to that lead role. Well hope i helped thanks got to go bye

Hmm...I do like your hair. But I think that it can be made better. Trim it to about shoulder length and have a hair stylist angle it in towards your face. And don't braid it, please.
