I have a potential child that the mother is claiming it is not mine. I feel it is since we went thru the ovulation testing and the doctor confirmed she was pregnant last May 2006. My attorney is having a court ordered DNA test of she and the baby, as well as myself. Can she committ fraud or falsify documents or are they carefully screened. I can't seem to get a consistent answer.

At the dna testing it is required that both parties bring in their driver license and social security. While testing the nurse or who ever is doing the testing finger prints your thumb the mothers along with the baby. They also take a picture. So as far as the dna goes that cannot be falsify. Remember you do not have to take the test at the same time.

Well she could put another 'father' on the birth certificate. But since you are getting DNA testing done.. it will not matter what name is on the certificate. They would have to change the birth certificate legally through the courts. So the answer is yes she could try to commit fraud, but the DNA will not lie. I wish you luck and think highly of you for taking on such a huge responsiblity.

you will receive an envelope from the lab along with a list of doctors who will take your dna, you will need photographic signed id with you, when you go, that sample is then kept with the doctor who sends it back to the lab there is no way your ex can get her hands on it and tamper with it , unless she gets someone with false id to provide dna before you get the envelope in which case you will only get the results letter, or if she mugged the postie for the sample envelope and done what i just said, to do that she would need to know exactly when the postie is coming round with that envelope or mug every postman in your sytreet until she gets the envelope, so you see the chances of tamperment is quite slim, thing is her and the baby will have to use their own doctor so if she took a different baby in not only would the doctor recognise its wrong child but her dna wouldnt match up either,, my ex had to have dna for my son, when the letter came back he disputed the 00.001 chance that he wasnt the father (in his words , its still a chance im not) we split because not only didnt he want kids even though we were getting married and he stopped me taking the pill , but his neurotic grandmother took one look at me and said shes a hussy boy your not the baker that put that bun in the oven,(i had never slept with anyone but him, also when meeting his gran was my first time in a skirt since school and my first time with make up on, the inpression i made wasnt the one i was intending to make)

I don't think it's possible for the Mother to falsify DNA tests. Unless she is loaded and is paying a doctor off! Which sounds unlikely.

you will get dna results from your attorney or from the court system. Hopefully she would not try to keep a baby from his/her father for her own selfish reasons. Good luck and hope everything works out for the best.

I saw something like this on Maury once. This guy sent in a friend that looked like him to take the test. That is why the person being tested has their picture taken so they can't cheat. It was funny cause Maury pulled out the picture in front of him and caught that cheating jerk.

if she claims not to know the father she can just have her name on the birth certificate- you have to file some paperwork before the kid is born to prove paternity-which is what your lawyer is probably working on with the DNA test. Also if no father is listed and she gets married I believe the new husband will be recorded in documents as her dad-unsure about that though.

they r screened very well. my exboyfriend had a girl accuse him of being the father of her child and we went up to the hospital and they take u into a room one at a time and then they send the information to a testing center then u get the results sent to u. each individual gets their own copy for their own records. good luck i hope u get what u r looking for.

If it is court ordered she can't mess with it unless she is sleeping with the lab tec, or something like that. Odds are the test will be correct. Be careful if you are the father child support laws are there to completely screw the fathers.

well if it is ordered by the courts... how can they do a fraudulent DNA on the baby?

It will be your DNA and the child's DNA they do. If you have the same blood type... they will do a more in-depth DNA on you both. .. If the blood type doesn't match... bud you are not the child's father.
