Now, how on earth do I convince him?
He says I have to go to school on my first day even if the doctor says I shouldn't...my dad is crazy!!
Somebody please tell me why he's keeping me from staying home..and how do I convince him?

Go to school the first day then tell your teachers or pricipal what you have and legally they will have to forbid you to come to school without a release from your doctor

your dad's a moron, sounds a lot like my dad. Not only is it bad for other people but you need to rest. My body didn't heal fast enough from an illness that I had when I was little because my parents made me go to school, church, do my chores and homework, now I have permanent heart damage. Stay home even if you get in trouble. Just call the school and explain, bring a doctors note when you get back and ask a friend to grab your homework, Your dad wont literally drag you to school all he will most likely do is yell.

Maybe he looks forward to having some peace and quiet. Routine is good. Nice to send the kids off, and have your own space for a few hours. I think tho, that if someone is contageous, then they should not spread around the flue virus. Have some consideration for your fellow students and their families. People are dying from the flue. Mostly small children and the elderly. Tell him these facts, and maybe he will reconsider, if you promise to stay out of his hair.

get your parents to call the school and advise the school of your medical condition and they will let you know weither or not to come to school

just suck it up and go to school...if they don't think you should be there, then they'll send you home...
