I have a pair of 6 1/2" 2-way pioneer speakers in the mid panel of my truck, when I play any music there is hardly anything but bass coming out. It's not a setting with my stereo, I think it's something that happened on the installation. Any suggestions? When I bought the system there weren't enough adapters to put on these speakers so I had to cut of the factory speaker adapters and wire them to the speakers on my own.

That sounds like they are out of phase. Reverse the wires on one of the speakers and that ought to fix it.
