It's God. He doesn't get bored, and why would you want everything to be a surprise?

I believe you are looking at time as a linear dimension. It certainly is for us: there is the past, the present and the future. The future is the most interesting to us because it is unknown

Perhaps time for God is a spatial dimension. In this gestalt all time is before God - it's all in the "NOW". He can look in on any time he wishes. Its just another dimension. Just like we can travel north - its just another dimension. Does going north make it boring? It may or may not.

For instance, we know where Paris is, how to get there and what approximately Paris is like. Does that make traveling to Paris boring? Not for me it doesn't. Perhaps that is like what time is for God. He knows what is going on in 2007, but he loves us as children and will want to look in on us anyway.

I'm not sure I agree with the statement God knows everything before it happens. I think those that follow him he knows. Those that don't follow him are his surprises. These are the people whom I don't believe he would have created. In fact, I could name several people I think he wish he would have skipped over! I'm sure you know some too!

God is a bore because he just had to have a book to make him into a type of superhero, but in the real world he's a chump.

It's times like that I wish I had Tourette's. I'd not only surprise myself, but god as well.

Exactly.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.
