Lasagna, you get all the flavor you can find from Italian food and none of the mess you get with spaghetti (at least not as much).

If you are inquiring for a date, then definitely lasagna. Much neater. In general, I prefer spaghetti. Mostly because I can't stand ricotta cheese though. If you make the lasagna with cottage cheese it is really good. Try it if you haven't. Enjoy!

I have relatives who make both from scratch - and both are great. It has been years since I have eaten either at a restaurant because I find it is never that good. Now, if I have to make it, I would choose spaghetti every time because I think I make a great spaghetti sauce (my children will eat the sauce alone or with crackers).
