Is it because of a fuse or a switch? Check that first and then have someone with a really skinny arm reach up under where they are attached inside and find the rubber knuckle. It isn't broken, just knocked out of it's socket like an elbow. Find where it has come apart and reach up in there and pop it back into it's rubber elbow joint. If it goes and no washer stuff squirts out, it is a windsheild washer gland that should be rushed to the doctor pronto. It's gonna blow.LOL!
You see, my wipe wouldn't move because I tried to throw my ex husband off the hood of my car and he grabbed on for dear life on my driver's side windshield wiper. After he went to jail...lol...I had to fix it myself and I did but you might need to lose a little weight first. I am very tiny and was able to reach my arm in that little space and found that they were not attached anymore and figured it out blind. I am a woman and I did it. So can you.

1. Put down the laptop
2. Pull into a service station and buy some more fluid.
3. If washer still does not work, wash window using their equipment
4. Get back on road

Two options...
1.) Wash the car
2.) Fix the winshield washer
*also check to make sure the holes aren't just blocked and check to see that the washer fluid just isn't empty

This is just way for you to get home, you still must get the problem fixed..........Pull up to the car in front of you, allowing snow, water. or slush, to get on your windshield. Turn on your wipers, and back-off from that car. I repeat, this will get you home, but you still need to fix the problem.

Does anyone find it strange that someone has to ask if a dirty windshield is unsafe?
