My girlfriend is rather prude. We have been dating for over 8 months, and I want to move the relationship foward. Also, her parents are very strict. For the first time in my life, I don't know what to do. Any help would be awsome.

what do you mean move it forward? you cant expect her to do anything until she's ready. and if you truly care for her you wont expect her to.
just talk to her about it... and reallly listen to what she has to say.

Are willing to commit your life to her? Is she the one you want to spend your life with? Does she feel the same way? If the answer is yes, then the obvious conclusion is get married. If the answer is no, then you had better decide right now if you want ot remain friends or if you are going to grow up and wait. When I met my wife, she captivated me and I didn't want to be with anyone but her. I had no doubts. The feeling was mutual. We were comfortable together and still are after 33 years of marriage. The decision is yours to make. Don't hurt her. Talk about it and make sure you are both understanding the relationship in the same way.

your girlfriend sounds very smart, as do her parents. What would REALLY impress her parents is if you went to them, in person, and told them that you (explain your relationship and affection for their daughter) and tell them that (you will be respectful of their rules, or whatever you feel, but NO lies) and ask them nicely if you could possibly move forward with her. But I don't recommend doing this unless you are extremely serious about this girl. Ask the girl herself if she wants to move on, and if so, what type of boundaries she'd like, and so on.

Well, if you think her parents are the ones who hinder your relationship, you should spend some time with them. Maybe her dad likes to play golf, and her mom like Italian food.
But if you think it's her, well, if you've been together for 8 months, I think you can talk openly about it with her and figure something out.

start small with hugs and holding hands and eventually then you can kiss her she should be ok with it by then no matter how prude she is

what do you want to do? she still isn't yours, are you going to marry her? then you are messing around with someone else's wife, have some respect.
