Actually here is a question then...Does Yahoo have it programmed that way or is it simply a search engine fluke?

It's called a "google bomb", which is an attempt to manipulate search engine results and rankings.
My favourite google bomb was the 1999-2000 "more evil than Satan himself" which brought up the Microsoft home page.
