My sister-in-law had a miscarriage 2 months into the pregnancy. It's like our family has the divine stamp of disapproval.

My daughter was raped on her birthday and then fractured her elbow 2 days later in a fall. My two sons stopped speaking to me because they both believe that either one was my favorite growing up and they won't talk to me until I tell them which one is. Of course there is no answer to that. All since 2007 began.

I don't think you should think your family has a stamp of disapproval. I think that's a little harsh. Miscarriages are quite normal - it happens all the time. Doesn't mean you're less of a family. The worst thing that happened to me this year is that after 28 years of life, I just really realized now that my relationship with my father is over. That to me is the worst feeling.

You are disapproving your sister-in-law? She couldn't help that situation that she was in.

Worst thing this year? The year has just started!!

But so far the worst thing was probably humiliating myself several times in front of the class-like when punks knock binders on the ground and my foot gets caught in them or when the rows of the desks are so freakin narrow [that even the teacher (who is very skinny)has to go in side ways.] that my hips move empty desks and make a loud screeching noise.

All the best!!

If you mean 2007, then nothing. If you meant 2006-brother hung himself in my parent's backyard. That was probably the lowpoint of the year. Things happen and some times for no reason. All you can do is keep on truckin and keep a positive attitude. Life is to short to be always unhappy.

KARMA??? Do u know what that is really? Do not worry. You say that it has been going on for a long time...but u did not mention anything else. Doubt that your fam has the divine stamp of anything!! Trust!!!

Just got out of the Hospital -- I broke quite a few bones in my foot, 4 of 5 toes on the same foot (at the joints), and now I am splinted up, taped up, compression wrapped, and in a heavy, solid 'boot' .... with LOTS of pain.

I overflowed my coffee pot because the caraf wasn't pushed all the way in, and it made a mess that took at least 15 minutes to clean up.
