i have the same hair. i used tons of hair irons and they didnt work how i wanted them to. so i finally discovered maxi glide. its the best. be sure to use heat protection for your hair so it doesnt get burned.

I recommend INFINITY BY CONAIR! It is REALLY good! Plus, it is ceramic, so it doesn't hurt your hair THAT much! They have a temperature setting based on your hair type. Like, the thicker the curlier the hair, the higher you can raise the temperature. But make sure to use a protection spray. Try VO5 Magical Mist! And then, use Garnier Fructis Sleek And Shine Serum! I heard that most curly hair typed people have frizzy hair, and this will make sure your hair doesn't frizz after straightening, and it makes your hair shiny and soft! Good luck! =)!

This is something I've had a great deal of trouble with. My hair is naturally straight but it's kinked and ugly. I have a 1" Revlon ceramic straightener with 25 settings. It was $20 at Rite Aid. It worked extremely well when I first got it, and it still works well, but my hair is sometimes frizzy and often goes back to being kinked and ugly by the end of the day. But I suppose it would depend on your hair type. If your hair isn't incredibly stubborn like mine, then this Revlon one would most likely be a good choice. Good luck!

U have to buy a CHI... they are mircle workers... Do not buy cheap 20 dollar one at walmart or drug stores because i promise u that they dont work. Also never buy one that says u can use it on wet hair because u never use one on wet hair because it will fry ur hair.

people say ghd's but personally they are a little bit too pricey for the fact you can buy something just as good. remmington and hair tools i find are the best hair straightners to use. dont forget to use a heat protector!

Get a straight perm. This way you don't have to waste an hour each morning doing your hair.
