Since the Blazer has not been made for a few years I would assume you are buying a used car.
The Ford Explorer is an extremely reliable vehicle with most users getting over 200k of use from them. The Blazer has an poorly designed engine which was very problematic and subject to electronic and fuels system problems.

They're both okay, but I would lean towards the Chevy Blazer. I think you'd come out a winner with either one though.

I would go with a trailblazer, I have one and it's a nice vehicle, rides like a car.

It all depends on the previous owner if it is used and if it is new, how well will you maintain your vehicle. A car is only as dependable as it's owner.
