Well if you get pregnant that will show them how mature you are! Nothing shuts up parents like having their teenage daughter knocked up. So that's what I suggest.

Well you are only 14 and shouldn't be dating in the first place. You do not understand all the emotions and complications that come with a relationship. You should focus on school and once you are older and more mature then try to date nice guys that your parents will like. Obviously they do not see this kid as a good fit for you. They also probably do not like the idea of you dating when you are so young. Maybe you should listen to what they have to say about this guy and see why the do not like him. O and your parents are protective because they love you. Obviously they are not overprotective because they are allowing you to have a bf at your age.

Why don't you suggest that an older brother or sister go with the four of you. You may be 14, but your still under your parents rules. Make the best of it. Try to understand that bad things can happen to good people...and they aren't being overprotective..they care about your welfare...and they are the ones responsible for you. If you have an older friend of the family or an older brother or sister go with you...sooner or later your parents may feel confident in your choices. It sounds like they are already questioning your choices if they don't like your boyfriend. He needs to work on that. He needs to talk to your parents and behave respectfully to them so they feel secure when you are with them. And don't think your fooling anyone by saying its a group date. Lots of things can happen..especially if your going with your best friend.

you are 14 and your parents are much older and have seen what the world is like, and they have gone through what you have. So, I believe that you are still a child, and I would respect my parents' decision. I know that sounds harsh and somewhat stupid, but a 14 yr old is still VERY young, no offense. I hope that someday you might understand.

well yeah i can see why they are over protective...you are 14. Believe it or not that is a very young age. Maybe your parents are right and you should sit this one out.

First and Foremost .. Respect your parents.. But why is that they don't like your boyfriend? There might be something about him that make your parents uneasy.
