She has never done it before... she always goes on a wee wee pad... tonight.. she went on to my bed and peed in it... Why?

Take her to the vet and make sure you rule out a urinary tract infection. Our dog had a low-grade infection for a long time and developed bladder stones which had to be surgically removed. It was a huge fiasco and very expensive!

I.e., she may be trying to tell you something!

Well, first off as a matter of personal preference I absolutely hate "wee wee pads" being used in the house. I feel that by training a dog to go in the house, even if it is on a "wee wee" pad you are teaching it that it is ok to go in the house. As a result, the dog just figures, "hey, this bed feels just like my "wee wee" pad, I think I ll take a leak....."

There could also be some Alpha dog stuff going on. If all along since you have had this dog if you have not firmly placed yourself as the pack leader, the Alpha dog, she is trying to assert her dominance over you.

Then the last option could be that she may have something wrong in her urinary tract.

Either way it goes I would talk to your vet. They can test her and if it isn't a urinary tract issue, they may be able to give you some tips.

Good luck.

She may have some kind of infection, I would take her to the vet. How old is she? Could she be having a bladder infection? Kidney disfunction? Was there any blood in the urine? Was she angry with you for any reason, like did you go out to dinner and get home late or anything???
If she's not mad at you, I would for sure have her checked out, sounds like a UTI (urinary tract infection) to me. If not, it's behavioral, and your vet will help you figure out what is going on there, too.

Has someone been sleeping in your bed or on your pillows besides you? My dog pees on my hubbys pillow if I don't get him off the bed and close the door. She may have been marking territory, to say this is mine, I claim it. The little snots!

Age. Illness. Possible emotional stress. One of those three.

well it depends on how old this dog is and if she has ever got loose and if she is fixed. Your dog might be in heat or she might be marking her territory from other dogs.

She doesn't like the new food you got for her. She's trying to tell you she want the meaty moist chow....dry food annoys her.
