I want to dye white curtains to a warm shade of orange or sunset yellow..any suggestions? I've never dyed anything before so I don't know what kind of dye to use or how much. Books or website addresses also welcome. :)

I did the exact same thing with RIT dye (available at any general store). It worked great. I followed the directions on the package (using the washing machine to soak them in the dye).

RIT Dye, read the directions, make sure you cycle your washer through once after dying before putting clothes in there. I learned that one the hard way.
