We talk online almost every other day, let me listen to different love songs, ask me to go out for lunch, ask me little favors which he can do himself, and tells me whenever a new girl likes him. I am quite confused. How do I know if this person likes me?

It sounds to me like he likes you, those are good indicators that you have right there. The only way your going to know 100% sure is if you ask him. I know you said "without" asking him, but theres no way to tell otherwise. Some guys go out of their way and make a girl believe that he likes them but come to find out he was just playing game. Why don't you ask him out on a date? Say something like "Do you want to go out with me for dinner? but make sure your sound like you want it to be a date and not just a friend get together.
Don't let this guy get away from you, or you'll always wonder "What if i asked him out?", just go for it, it's the only way you'll know for sure =]

Send them a note.Ask them straight up.NEVR GET A FRIEND TO DO IT FOR YOU!That never works!Ive tried that before and they either make fun of you,are late asking and wont do it if theres not something in it for them.Pull aside the girl/Guy and say to them "I really like you and I was wondering if you felt the same way?" if they say yes congrajulations.If no deal with the heartbreak.You cant always get what you want,but atleast try to see if you can.

If his pupils dilate, or seem very large when you are talking to him, then he likes you. You'll probably have to compare the size of his pupils with other people in the same light, but if they often seem quite big then he likes you. It's a completely uncontrollable physical reaction you have when looking at someone you're attracted to, because larger pupils make your eyes look bigger and therefore more attractive. That's a surefire physical sign.

Well, given the hints he's been putting off he prolly does. Just ask him. If you are comfortable enough with each other. Or get a friend or one of his friends to ask him. You just have to be open. Or casually bring up dating and see what he says. Give him time.

get one of his friends that is also your friend to ask him.
[preferably a guy friend]
or just drop hint you like him and see how he reacts.
if he goes along with you flirting or gets embarassed then he likes you.
but if he gives you a weird look and stops talking to you for a little while that means that he is kind of confused and either he doesnt know if he likes you or he doesnt like you.
