ok so in history class this guy that just joined our period.
i was talking him today as we were just answering q's from a piece of paper and i didn't say anything to make him like me .
any way he just asked me my last name and what my first period was and then i told him and asked him why.
he said he was going to get me a gift sent to me on valentines day
and i think thats romantic i just dont like him in that way. when he told me i felt really nervous and wanted to cry because i dont know how to tell him i am not interested.
what should I DO ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

omg... something like that happened to me too. there's this guy, i've just thought of him as a friend, and suddenly he asks me out to the dance. i then said i had a dentist appointment that day and said i thought he was a really nice guy. but then for valentines day, he sends a flower to my homeroom. i just thanked him and said that was really sweet of him. Then, i played a two-timer. i had already said that i had a kinda-boyfriend in another city. and i started hanging out with other guys when he walked by me, like i didn't see that he was there. or you can always say you're a lesbian:) just kidding, but let him off gently.

Okay I don't remember reading that he said he liked you. For all you know he could have sent out numerous Valentine's Day gifts. I think you should just play dumb, your not a mind reader. If he didn't come out and say anything, don't worry about it, you're thinking about this way too much.

I think maybe your response to his gesture is interesting. Why feel so embarassed and guilty? Take it for what it is, a compliment. Thank him for a very kind gesture, and don't encourage anything else (your embarassed reaction may be taken as encouragement).

Just tell him straight out that you're not interested. Just let him know that he's just your classmate and nothing else....
