The problem I have with this is that there are people still, believe it or not, who are NOT gay... Had this been a gay man kissing a female and reacting to it nothing would have been said... I think that the reactions to the ad show a discrimination against men more than the ad itslef shows a discriminatino agains gays

Part of me agrees with you, but on the other hand if you showed a black woman spending her last welfare dollar on a Snicker's bar that would be considered rascist. Or if you had a family of 12 Mexicans (you know how those Mexicans breed) splitting a Snicker's bar into 12 pieces that would be rascist too.
Or what if you had a woman (you know how those women love to bake ****) working all day to make the perfect meal and when the family sat down to eat all the food was made out of Snicker's bars. haha, that would be capitol! A Snicker's Turkey with some Snicker's salad and some Snicker's Milkshakes. I should have been a Marketing Agent!

They have a point. It's not as if it's showing two men willingly kissing - it (apparently) shows two men accidentally kissing, then saying "ick, yuck, boy germs" and doing he-men stuff to make themselves feel better about it.
Personally, I just don't have the energy to care about this. I do have to wonder why Snickers felt they had to go there....but whatever.

Are you talking about the one that actually aired or the different endings?
you had the one that was aired, then you had one at the end where they dranked motor oil to sow them being manly, then you had one that showed them beating the crap out of each other.
Snickers would not have pulled it if they did not agree that it was wrong. Why would the LGBT's want it aired look at what the ad showed and backed.

"Feedback from our target consumers has been positive. In addition, many media and website commentators of this year's Super Bowl commercial line-up ranked the commercial among this year's top ten best. USA Today ranked it .9 of its top ten picks," she continued.
Who the heck was their target audience? I don't think the typical die-hard NFL fan ran out after the game to buy a few bars in appreciation....

My husband thought it was disgusting. Here it is a masculine football game and the image of two men kissing, was sick. What next ? It made many people and all Religions gag.

At one time, anyone could be made fun of. Then Black people started getting pissed off and then it was everyone but them, soon it was the women too, and eventually everyone but White Males. White Males have become the minority.

I liked the commercial. Funny enough I was watching the Super Bowl with two gay guys and they didn't complain.

Yah they lost me too, that was going a bit too far, they are trying to desensitize us. I think the Marketing Director of Mars Corporation is a homosexual, that is the only way they let that pass, and paid millions of company dollars to air it.
