i did the e-file thing with tax act today and asked for direct deposit. how long do you think it will take to get my money?

As long as there are no errors or issues with your return, you can expect your refund in 7 to 10 business days from the date the IRS confirms receipt of your return

You will need your SS#, your filing status, and the amount of refund as it is shown on your return.

It should have told you how long it would take. You should have your money within two weeks. That's the norm for direct deposit.

IRS says 2 weeks, but most of the time you will get money in a week.
