A deodorant is not necessarily a antiperspirant. A deodorant is to make sure you don't smell bad. Make sure your deodorant says antiperspirant on it. If it still doesn't work, change brands.

If you have excessive sweating all the time regular antiperspirants won't help. I tried them all. The only over the counter product that works is Certain Dri. Or go to your doctor and get Drysol. They both only go on at night once a week and a bottle should last you for a year or so. I don't sweat at all now.

A couple of years ago I tried the dreadfull Atkin's diet. For the uninitiated it is a very high protein diet. Soooooo bad for you. Anyway, I didn't do it for long, for the couple of months I was on it I used to sweat profusely all the time!! When I went back to eating a moderate level of carbohydrate rich foods - wholegrains, vegetables, wheat bran, wheat germ, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds (all Zinc foods) and liver, beef, eggs and kidney (all vitamin B12 foods) - I found that my excessive perspiration problem quickly cleared!!

In this instance you are probably excessively thirsty all the time, have white spots under you finger nails??? If you can't eat more foods rich in these two go get yourself a good multivitamin B complex and Zinc supplement. Speak to the chemist, he will be able to recommend the best brands to buy.

I know exactly what you're talking about! I have it, it's called hyperhidrosis and there is no cure, BUT there is a treatment. It's called Maxim, it's by Corad Healthcare (I've only seen it at this website and on ebay for the same price) and there's a 100% money-back garuntee but I've never had to use it before. You can order it at www.coradhealthcare.com, it might seem expensive at first (the website says it only lasts about 2-3 months but my first bottle lasted about 9 months) So its like $20 to get all your self-confidence back! I've been sweat puddle free for about 1 1/2 years!
good-luck, hope I helped!

Go see your doctor. You may have a condition called Hyperhidrosis.
If you have this condition the doctor may prescribe a strong antiperspirant or you may be a candidate to receive botox injections to greatly reduce the amount you sweat.

Good luck!

Make sure you are using an ANTI-PERSPIRANT not just a "deoderant". A Deoderant just covers up smell but doesn't not stop sweat.

Sprinkle a little baking soda onto a damp washcloth. Pat on. Don’t rinse.
