Your question is so vague. It depends on what they think you're lying about. If it's something rediculous than who cares! If it's something important find proof to show them you aren't lying. If that still doesn't work or if you can't prove it, then maybe just leave it alone and let them believe what they want.

a guys point of view............i have the same delema at this very minute...i did something wrong...i broke a womans heart...and some very bad things were said about me that i didnt say or do...but she belives them anyway...i have no way to prove my innocence...so i have arranged a meet with her this thursday morning...she ia willing to talk and see if things can be worked out...see? now...you didnt give any details here so i have to shoot from the hip,so to say...if you did something to someone, and your guilty...admit it and ask for forgiveness...if this is really bad get on your knees if need be...if your not still meet...and give your point of view...take proof if you have it...and if your like me right now and dont have any...then bring your WORD...this may not be much but its "you"...this is the only thing you have that you can give and still keep...if you have been honest with this person or persons this will be enough...if not, then they weren't your friends or family to start with...and no matter what you say or do will change there minds............good luck...be safe...best wishes...

time will pass and they will know you were not lying , thats how the world works , unless if you really really care about them then maybe you shoudl prove you were not , usually the people who lies alot are the one who think that you lying at them , and if there is no way you could prove yourself then "whatever" you know , if they want to believe you or not as long as you knwo you telling the truth then you good to go

Without proof of your honesty, you can't do much.
You could point to your history, if it's been an honest one.
Otherwise, you will have to allow them their opinion of you, and if you care, you can strive to change their view of you through future behaviour.

what would you want someone to do if they weren't lieing?can they prove it to you? What would it take for you to believe them?can you catch them in the lie.Do you know or suspect or is it a gut feeling?I confront them if it's worth it.

Give them proof that you're not lying. If you are lying, tell the truth.

show them that your not lying, give them some proof or explain to them in more detail, maybe your not giving them enough detail for them to know your not lying
