Well,there's been Mao Zedong,Joseph Stalin,Pol Pot.
Pol Pot caused the death of around 1.5 million,
Joseph Stalin caused the death of around 9 million,
Mao Zedong caused the death of around 60 million.
Funny how people keep bring up the Crusades! Fair enough, but did you know that the Crusades were a response to centuries of Muslim and oppresion and violence? I thought not.
And Hitler was not a Christian, honestly, can't people read?
'The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death.... When understanding of the universe has become widespread... Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity.... Christianity has reached the peak of absurdity.... And that's why someday its structure will collapse.... ...the only way to get rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little.... Christianity the liar.... We'll see to it that the Churches cannot spread abroad teachings in conflict with the interests of the State.'
'Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery.... .... When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease'

It's not a religion, dork.
Homicide is by crazy people with something wrong with their minds, it does not have a factor in someone being an atheist or not. Whether they are an atheist is a moot point.
And suicide...how can you put that in the same category of being a "violent religion"? Suicide is a sad fact of human existence that can happen with a person from any background...
Edit:
"Atheism is a belief system. Thus it is a religion."
Fine, you wanna play that way... Christianity is an organized religion that follows a human that tells them how to believe their book. Thus it is a CULT, that has killed many over the decades for differing beliefs.

No, Atheists don't claim any religion at all. Thats what Atheist means.
They have also NEVER claimed to be nonviolent. They just claimed to be less violent (which is the truth).
No, Atheism is NOT a "belief system". Its only uneducated Christians that think that. You need a dictionary.

If you disagree with the fact that Atheist dont have any religion, Id have to think you have more serious problems than just this...
We have a non-violent PHILOSOPHY, not a religion.
Remember Chapman, the guy who killed John Lennon - he killed him because Chapman was a mentally ill CHRISTIAN who couldnt understand how Lennon could sing "Imagine a world with no religion."
Disagree all you want. then bust out a history book and look up THE CRUSADES. Choose any of the several Christian Crusades that occurred over a 500 year period - that should pretty much end all arguments.
Dr./ Zoom Zoom - Hitler was a happy little CHRISTIAN who was searching for the Spear of Destiny...hardly an Atheist...

That is true, we do have some form of violents in are atheism; however, its a very very small precentage from the other religions.
But i believe it will get to a point where we atheists would stop are violents ways far faster then the religious peoples violent ways

Less than Christianity since the majority are Christians. In military history terms, alot but still less than Christianity. Atheism is not a religion. There is no Atheist bible or church. It has no or little characteristics of being a religion.

There are no reliable statistics about that. Atheism isn't a religion or a belief system.

Well, Christians always say there is no such thing as a dead atheist, so I guess they all convert to Christianity in the end. That would mean there are zero suicides in atheism. As for the homicides, we all know that Christianity in jails is overwhelming. So, I'd say very few.

I think it was over 100 million, when you consider that's how many the communists (who were atheists) killed...and are still killing. If you consider Hitler an atheist, then that would put it higher. "Christianity, of course, has reached the peak of absurdity in this respect. And that's why one day its structure will collapse. Science has already impregnated humanity. Consequently, the more Christianity clings to its dogmas, the quicker it will decline."[Hitler's Table Talk, pp 58-62]
"Hitler usually concluded this historical speculation by remarking 'You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?'" [Speer, Albert, Inside the Third Reich, Bonanza Books, New York, p. 96]
"The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity." [Table Talk, p. 75]
"The Jew who fraudulently introduced Christianity into the ancient world----in order to ruin it----re-opened the same breach in modern times, taking as his pretext the social question. Just as Saul became St. Paul, Mardochai has become Karl Marx." [p. 314]
Whether he was an occultist or an atheist, he definatly wasn't a Christian.
Oh, BTW, Mark David Chapman was a Satanist, not a Christian "1980 NYC, New York Nut job Mark David Chapman assassinates ex-Beatle John Lennon, devestating millions of fans worldwide. What is not widely known is that Chapman is a self styled Satanist. Chapman abandoned Christianity in 1977 and turned to Satan worship. After a botched suicide attempt he took as a "sign from Satan", Chapman claimed he prayed to Satan to make him "totally psycho" and apparently got his wish. He is spending the rest of his life in prison for murder. "
