I really like this guy, and I mean a lot. we have a lot in common and seem to get on well. he's been flirtatious numerous times although he does seem to be pretty moody. anyhow i met him through a course we're both taking and he has to quit because he's working late, so I will not be seeing him any more. we all have each other's phone numbers - so should I call him? I really like him and I feel like it would be such a waste if i let this opportunity go.

Now a days us women can't wait for the guy to make the move. If you really like him - I think you should call. You might pass up a great opportunity that you will regret forever. There could also be a chance that he's not sure if you like him so he's scared or doesn't know how to approach you. It won't hurt for you to call him and even ask him out to lunch if you think dinner is too formal. Go from there and you never know. If you can't be lovers, a great friendship is worth it.

Call. Say " Hi, this is ...., what's up?" Then he'll say...something. Then you say "I was just wondering if you might want to go to.....movies, dinner, show, out." Then say "My treat." Because if he is broke and likes you he will spend his food money taking you out. If you pay you can take him wherever you can afford to go. Just for slushies and a rental movie if your broke. He'll love it no matter what. I've been swooned by a couple girls using the "My treat" thing. Even though the whole date cost them like six bucks. Smooth though
Good Luck!!

You should call. Talk about anything. Ask him about his work and what he does, or what he did in high school (or Jr High, not sure what kind of school you go to) Aks him what he wants to do with his life or about animals or something! Anything! Type in "Conversation Starters" in a yahoo or google search box. It comes up with tons of things!

If he's given you his number, then for goodness sake call! He obviously wants to talk to you, if he's given it to you. It's not rocket science what to say. It's not that hard to strike up a conversation.

Call sometime when you know he won't be there and leave a message - if he calls back he's interested.
