why with the amount of different foods we eat do we pull that stupid ridiculous face when we eat something sour

b cos our facial expressions r automatic and going back 2 caveman time or think of an animal if they ate bitter food they wud class it as poison and leave a disgusting taste in the mouth. And automatically the facial muscles wud pull a disgusted look. this is what happens when we bite into something sour as it gives a bitter taste and our face then as i said b 4 will automatically pull a disgusted look. plus its a shock 2 the taste buds. im studying psychology and we have just recently been talking about facial expressions.

sometimes you just can't help it, guess it depends on what your tastebuds are used to, every day at work my boss gives me a zinc capsule, after about 5 minutes it bursts and tastes like what I imagine 6 week old socks taste like! How could you not pull a face? Can't help it even though I know she's looking out for me?!?

its annatural reaction,once it hits the tastebuds we have a natural reaction to refuse tastes we dont like,hence us making grimacing faces due to tastes were not used to
