I know my hair looks pretty when cruled, but I'm not sure how to do it. I'm talking about fairly large curls. My hair is really strait, and I have no idea how to make it look cool. Please help!

The easiest way to get curls that i think look really pretty and last is by getting someone like a friend ,parent ..or whatever and getting them to french braid ur hair after a shower at night time like 2-3 hours before bed then go to sleep with the french braid in your hair take it our in the morning, spray it with some hair spray like 2-3 spritz no more... then you should be ready and maybe touch it up with a curling iron if a couple peices have fallen out while u sleep.... doing this is a easier way than curling every hair on your head with a curling iron and looks just as good.
(i have STRAIT hair 2 .. like bone strait and this works well for me)

i began curling my hair a pair years in the past utilising a curling iron...and this equipment works for me each and every time. appears like I have an similar length hair as you as well... a million) section your hair the position you want it. 2) commence with one side, and take sections of hair that are really skinny, yet are 2 or 3 inches huge. 3) Curl the hair through putting the curling iron on the total of your head, do not open the clasp....only go away it close. And wrap the hair around the barrel from the total to the bottom. It appears like you've been beginning the clasp, and then rolling the hair from the bottom to the total. considering your no longer utilising the clasp, you should carry the top of the part of hair in position, yet i stumble on this works a lot extra perfect. 4) carry the hair and curling iron in position for 10-15 seconds in retaining with part of hair. 5) proceed this till all hair is curled, then toss curls only so that they are extra organic looking! i do not use any product, and my hair continues to be positioned all day...yet you may pick to set gently with hairspray even as finished. wish this helps!

Hey, there are different ways you can curl your hair. There are the ceramic thin plated straighteners, the wide curling tongs and hot rollers. There are also a lot of styling products you can use to help achieve the curl that you like.
Make sure the hair is clean and completely dried off before you start to style. :)
Enjoy!

My hair is also super straight. I found that hot rollers work, but they tend to give me unruly curls. I think that a large barrelled curling iron works best (2 to 3inches), working with 3 inch sections, and using a spiral technique will give you large curls.

I have straight hair too. I use a FAT curling iron. Many different brands make them. If you want to do it the old fashion way apply dippity do or some other styling gel when curling it by hand.

Use hair spray too.

You can buy the jumbo plastic, snap on rollers and also purchase a setting lotion. Apply the setting lotion to wet/damp hair then use the rollers, apply the rollers all over or roll half way up or just at the ends, depending on the style your trying to achieve.

Curling irons dont work very good unless you're like a professional and you know how to use it really good, but hor rollers work amazing.
