You can't. There'll always be the person who'd rather throw their McDOnalds bag on the ground than look for a trash can.

However, the general population may be willing to make small changes to help the problem. Not many would be willing to live an entirely carbon-free lifestyle today, but we could easily weign off the stuff. Take away a few bad lightbulbs here, raise Gasoline taxes there. Eventually, it can stop. Not any time soon, though.

Basically, just conserve electricity, car pool, and recycle for now. All are good; Conserving electricity saves you money, car pooling is a splendid social opportunity, and recycling stuff like cans often gives a 5 or 10 cent refund.

Save the world, start with yourself. Reduce the amount of electricity from polluting origin that you use, do not use cars (of the polluting kind) or airplanes if you don't really need to. Try a bike for a change. Do not use any wood that originates from illegal logging: http://www.fsc.org/en/

It is not what u do that means anything . U represent a few to 6 billion. not good odds. If u don't your data right u don't have a chance.CO2 is taken care of by plants and photosynthesis.
Then there is Methane ,try to prove it. Methane is a light gas and goes very high in the atmosphere. Tell me how to measure it and verify your data. All that bad methane I can out find it.
