I am a 14 year old female, and any teenage girl is going to worry about her hair.. mine is shoulder length and very dry and has split ends. I use products everyday[I alternate between brands] I know its not good to use a certain brand of products/shampoo/conditioner for 2 months/over 2 months, so i try and change it at least once every 1 month. I straighten my hair everyday.. because if i dont it looks funny and frizzy. I use anti frizz serum by pantene and redken and i use anti breakage system by pantene and redken. [ like i said before i alternate everyday on the products] SO BASICALLY.. i need help. =]

Oh, my. You do need help. You basically have 2 choices--continue to straighten your hair and use every product under the sun to minimize damage OR give your hair a break from straightening and all other heat styling.

By leaving your hair alone you'll give it a chance to repair itself. It's wintertime now, could you get away with wearing a hat for the next couple of months?

I know you think your hair looks funny if it's not straightened, but I think healthy hair of any texture looks better than unhealthy hair of any texture.

Whatever you do, invest in a good leave-in conditioner.

Hum.. I wish you listed your ethnicity too! That has a lot to do with what products work best. The hot oil treatment is a GREAT start. I would stick with the Pantene products. Those work on ALL types of hair. Also, remember Conditioner & Moisterizers do 2 seperate things. FUZZYNESS can be caused by OVER conditioning so try a GOOD moisterizer INSTEAD of a conditioner. Also make sure to use a FLAT IRON that is CERAMIC. That holds the moisture in as well. GOOD luck!!

well, using products like those everyday relly damages and dries out ur hair.
it may seem like the products r supposed to fix ur dry/split ended hair, but if used to often it makes the problem worse. its the same as if a person with oily hair washed ther hear everday to make it less oily, but then ther hair just ends up being even more oily from overwashing. i would suggest cutting down alot on those products, getting a trim to get rid of the split ends, and getting a good conditioner for very dry hair. i would suggest herbal essences "dry/damaged hair" conditioner. it works great.

hope i helped =]

Don't get to crazy...using too many products isn't good either. Try asking a doctor or someone who has similar hair (mom, grandma) for tips. If you've REALLY tried all the products out there, there is really nothing you can do. Asking your family members is your best bet. Best of Luck!!

using too many products on ur hair is almost as damaging as not using them at all. all you need is a hair cut regulary (4-6weeks) a heat protector and fishing spray or serum. also u should only use the best product for your hair. there is no need to keep changing products. in my salon i only use one brand of products

Try hot oil treatments. VO5 has them, and there are other brands too. They are great.
