I'm guessing your meaning a newer model as 1996-2001 models didn't have a petrol or diesel 2.0 se...
You didn't state manual or auto so here's both:

So 2000-2004:
2.0 SE petrol manual: 124BHP, 32MPG
2.0 SE petrol auto: 120BHP, 29MPG

2.0 SE petrol manual: Upped 130BHP, 34MPG

2005- ON
2.0 SE FSI petrol manual: 132BHP, 34MPG
2.0 SE FSI DSG (auto): 129BHP, 29MPG

2.0 SE TDI manual: 130BHP, 48MPG
2.0 SE TDI DSG (auto): 128BHP, 43MPG

These are official figures, although weather conditions will change them, in freezing conditions expect the to lower by about 3-10MPG and hotter conditions should match these figures.

Hope this helps.

I hate to tell you this, but this shop brat knows...P H U C miles per gallon!!!!!! You don't care about miles per gallon when it comes to getting your slow lame *** on that freeway onramp, now does it? You don't buy a car based on freeway mileage unless you have a minimum wage job! I buy my cars based on the fact that I can get away from some a s s h o l e who thinks they can cut my a s s off! DUH! If you don't work less than 100 miles from your workplace, to hell with gas mileage! DUH!
