Since you have so much time on your hands,maybe you should get a job as a fiction writer or street cleaner.
Note : as a street cleaner you could find and count all the dead bodies in the street....and check out what brand of cigarettes seems to attract the trigger happy cops....

Cops in New York are not against having a smoke themselves so I doubt this will ever happen!
A Cop in Chicago did once tell me in a friendly way that I should give it up...but no shots were fired!! LOL

Um, no. Not sure who or what gave you that idea, but it's absolutely false. While our criminal justice system may not be perfect, cops cannot, and do not kill you on the street for smoking.

The cops won't, but maybe the anti-smoking fanatics we have here would. Americans like to jump on anti-everything bandwagons..... like Trans-fat, smoking,... the cops are usually the least of our worries!

Hey Mate I think you watch too many "shoot & kill" movies. NO NO NO, American Cops do NOT shoot ppl who smoke But smoke all you like, you will get killed in due time .... it just takes longer than a bullet.

No, but as its been shown in the past they will treat you as if you just killed a fellow officer, because as is with any job and/or business in the country you got to exploit any possible way to get more money!

No, but they may ask to borrow a light or even a smoke if they need one. If you refuse, then they might shoot you, so be cool and share the smokes. (just kidding)
