I'm not too sure that a shampoo can achieve what you're looking for. Bed head is good, but if your hair is fine or gets greasy quite quickly it probably won't help. (i tried it and failed). Frizz Ease finishing cream is good. Use like a serum on dried hair and it really does make it soft and smooth. Also Aveda Elixir a leave in conditioner is really good. You don't need to use much, and on appearance it looks watery like it won't do anything, but you will be pleasantly surprised.

If you can afford better products, I would suggest doing so. The cheap hair products like Herbal essence make your hair feel nice for a while, but they are loaded with waxes that coat your hair. ICK! After a while, it builds up and gets gross. I love Biolage or Nexxus. You can find them at target for a decent price. With shampoos and conditioners its best to spend a little more because the cheap stuff will coat your hair to make it seem shiny.

My favorite is TIGI S-Factor Shampoo and Conditioner. It is more expensive, but definitely worth it. Next would be Redken Smooth Down Shampoo and Conditioner. They are also a professional line, but less expensive then TIGI.

I'm liking SUNSILK right now. They have like 6 or 8 different kinds for different types of hair issues. I'm using the blue one for "hair that frizzes when it dries".
Check it out. I buy it at CVS.
