You explain them the same way you would to someone who doesn't only want to follow state laws. If they don't like federal laws, they should find another country to live in, or petition the government for specific changes.

We have to follow Federal Laws,They are the major laws.It would be a Federal Crime.If we do not follow them.

Remind them that Texas is the only state with the legal right to secede from the Union (because we used to be our own country). Honest to gosh. Sadly, most of the Texas voters are happy as calves in clover with our current administration.
