Is it okay to use one shampoo one day, and another the next? Or is it better to use them in longer periods before you switch? How long? Is switching shampoos very frequently actually better for your hair?

DO IT! Using the same shampoo for any extended period of time causes build up, etc. While there is no hard and fast rule for how often you should switch, etc., there is also no harm to change more often than less. Even if you only have 2 different types, this can do wonders for your hair.

Why would you want to do that? Find a good shampoo that suits your hair and stick to it. Using a different clarifying shampoo once a week is a good idea. But a different shampoo every day of the week is a little too much in my opinion. And I don't think it's going to do your hair any good.

I've heard its good to try different shampoos on occasion. It helps your hair from getting build up on it that shampoos leave behind. I don't think changing it daily or weekly is necessary though.

It won't hurt to switch everyday. I usually will use two different ones each week. Using just one will cause build up. by switching them you get cleaner hair.
