If you are using Microsoft Word, go under the Insert menu and go down to symbol. Then just scroll through the letters (best to make sure the subset is at Latin basic, not monetary) until you find the desired letter with the accent mark.

if you're using microsoft word...type ctrl+" and then the vowel you need the accent over.

ctrl doesn't do it on my computer; try holding down alt while pressing 161, 162, etc. í ó ú ñ Ñ
