that's the problem with doing your own "surgery". It doesn't always work out the way you'd like it to. I suggest going to see a doctor.. sound like it has something to do with nerves though. good luck.

Yeah nice, friend, telling you BS like that, what the hell does she know? I think you should possibly take her to a vet, since it isn't possible to get a diagnosis over the internet, particularly on the limited info you've given. I mean, how big is the lump?! Take the cat to a vet - for one thing, she needs to be spayed. Why isn't she spayed already anyway?! And cats do not get a lump in their stomach before they go into heat. Chalice

First why are you cutting anything off your body? Second, it's touching a nerve that goes up to your neck. When you scratch it, you are triggering that nerve.

Nerve endings are a funny thing. They relate to one another, so it could be that when you scratch you feel it in your neck.

There is a theory called reflexology which (from my understanding) suggests that one part of the body is directly related to another causing a sensation like you described
