I have dated someone three or four times..it has been great. He phones me every day...we talk, laugh a lot! I like him...we have slept together once. Is it ok to ask him if we are an item? Do men feel put on the spot with these kinds of questions? Should I just wait to see what happens? I am newly dating after a marriage failure....several years ago. I am ready to fall in love, and not sure what to do next! Help!

I also just started dating some new that things are great with. We talk all the time and have spend many hours together since we met (even though we live an hr apart). Every guy is different. The guy I'm involved with I'm sure would say we are an item - however your guy might get freaked out by a discussion like that so soon. I'd say just let things progress and enjoy what you have. When the time is right for a talk like that I'm sure you'll know.

I think that you should be taking it slow because you don't want to get hurt and you should be looking very close at anyone that you choose to date. Remember that you have been married before and it didn't come out to be all that marriage is summed up to be I think that you should take your time with this one and choose wisely on whom you give your heart to. I have burnt and I have promised my heart to another and I hope that you take your time on this one.

A way one of my boyfriends found out, cuz i was always ignoring him was he asked who my boyfriend was. Shocked me at first but i caught along and said he was.
