So he should be thrown in jail for 4 years, which is the sentence he is facing. He might say the Iraq war is wrong, some soldiers beleive that. But there are about 2 million or so he disagree with him.

A leader who kills people without reason? You mean like Saddam Hussein? Trust me, the insurgents in Iraq are not being killed for "no reason".

Please do not post if you have no idea what you are talking about.

No..WE can not say any of " this"!
The American soldier will be punished for his refusal. He entered the military and chose to comply with the military rules. His refusal is subject to punishment. It is Only a hot topic because the liberal press wants to rant on the current policies in the Mideast.
No army can function when soldiers only want to do jobs they like/want...(i.e. I will serve but only if i can stay close to home, get paid every Friday, wear my favorite red jacket, get free laundry service,etc....
...Soldiers in the USA are not children and as adults know exactly what military life demands...
....As for Bush, History will record his path and the path of civilization as we now know it.

A soldier has an obligation to disobey illegal orders. However, deployment to somewhere he doesn't like isn't an illegal order. The war was convened with the full consent of the United States Government in accordance with international law.

He's got no leg to stand on.

Personally, I think he's either a moonbat or a coward.

we can say he didnt follow a lawful order and will be put in prison for a few years...not to mention the fact that he is forever branded a coward and traitor by those of us that are patriotic...we can also hope that iran keeps meddling in iraq's business so we can go into iran and take out their regime and make the whole middle east a democracy..wether they want it or not...we are americans, and we know what is best for those who want to live under a cretinous 6th century religious rule of law....they either get in line with the rest of civilized people or get put back into the stone age and start over....thats my law....

It isn't the soldier's decision. He signed up for the military and he should be willing to obey orders. Solder's can't decide what they will or will not do in the military. It's just not the way it works. They aren't ordinary citizens. They don't have to agree with orders or like their leaders, but they do have to obey them and respect them.

Can you use basic english? You can say whatever you want, that doesn't make it so. As for the officer who refused to go to Iraq, I wish they would hang him.

This LT is a deserter. He has to pay for his crime. It is not for the individual soldier to decide if a campaign is correct or not. It is for the individual soldier to do his/her utmost to preserve the highest standards that we are taught.

Ask an honest, adult, mature question correctly spelled and you might get some credibility. Until then you're just a punk.
