I assume that you are accessing YA from the library's public computer. That you are dressed in clothes that other people have donated to you. That your evening meal will come from a soup kitchen. That you will sleep on a grate or in a shelter tonight.

Supply and Demand. Because there is a finite supply of worldly things that makes them more valuable then an infinite supply of God. God is a fairy tale that only morons and retards believe.

I'm no moron and I like finite worldly things, because I earn them.

And I also love worldly, mundane, raunchy sex, especially with two gals at the time, a pleasure no religion or tooth fairy can provide.

Because we as humans tend to look out for what's in our best interest. That's part of our survival instincts. Often that means lookin at things from a short term basis.

Instead, as Christians, should we not be looking at things from an eternal perspective. Those things can include being the best worker, parent, Christian, helper, friend, co-worker, leader, etc. Whatever gifts and talents we possess, we should be doing those things to the glory of God.

They want things from God but they go to each other to get them. That is understandable. It takes time to do it the other way if that is not your habit.
