I guess that depends upon your perspective. A godless person is one who either acknowledges no god or is without reverence for God, both of which I think atheists would accept as appropriate. But the word is also sometimes used as a synonym for wicked, which most atheists would argue is inaccurate. Most atheists consider themselves to be very moral, or at least attempt to live what they consider moral lives.

Not exactly. It's more appropriate for the terms "republican", "christian", "right wing", "evangelist" and "President George W Bush" --for THOSE words to have negative connotation.

Yes, since we are all children of God. If we choose to expel God from our lives, that is a bad thing.
