I like this girl, and she knows I like her. Ever since the beginning of the school year, she would flirt with me (she started, not me). Lately, she's still been giving me attention. When some people see us together, they might think that she likes me, but I'm not so sure. How can you tell if a girl is giving you attention because she really likes you, or because she's just likes you as a friend?

I could feed you a lie but I won't. Truthfully...it depends on the girl. But this whole flirt thing is definitely showing signs that she at least likes you as a friend. Leave it for awhile. Don't lead on that you assume anything and then go from there. But at the same time don't wait forever. Being a girl and all I can honestly tell you that we are complex. But we're also understanding so if you screw up we'll most likely forgive you...Good Luck!

I think she likes you because she flirted with you first. If she does really like you, it will show, because she will give you extra attention she does not normally give others. Trust me, nobody wastes their time with giving a guy attention unless they want the guy for something more. I been friends with guys but I never paid any extra attention to them unless I was really interested in being more.

Ok, I understand, some guys don't get our signs, so let me help you... she's making it pretty darn obvious that she has the hotts for you, so ask her out. Don't let her slip away, girls like it when guys come straight out and simply saying,"Hey, I really like you, do you want to go out with me?" Girls like guys who arent wusses and back away, so thats why you cant sound like a nervous loser when you ask her, just practice a little bit and then practice asking your dog or whatever pets you have so that you're talking to SOMEBODY. Then move on to the real thing and ask her out!

u can tell a girl likes u by the signals she gives... example: smiles, flirts, checks her hair in a mirror, looks at you and turns her head as soon as u see her, etc...

depending on who she is she'll answer
but be careful sometimes it ticks us off wen guys send their friends to do their dirty work . . .
if u want to be upfront ask her yourself
