These answers are correct. No shampoo or conditioner will get rid of split ends. You need to get a trim.

If you don't have too many split ends, you can twist your hair in sections and trim off the split ends that stick out with a small pair of scissors. (e.g. cuticle scissors or the kind for babies hair)

Avoid cheap, harsh shampoos. (ex. Alberto VO5)

Pantene is the best everyday conditioner I've found.

A haircut is the only way to get rid of split ends. But after that, use the new Pantene Restoratives Anti-Breakage collection (it's at CVS, Stop & Shop - any drug store or supermarket, I'm sure). It's fantastic, and really does make a difference.

Unfortunately No shampoo will actually get rid of split ends. They need to be trimmed off.

The only foolproof way to get rid of split ends is to get a good trim - at least 1.5 to 2 inches off.

Shampoo only cleans the hair. I will not mend split ends. Get a good cut & you'll be straight....

forget the shampoo - get a trim. the split ends can't be repaired - they have to be cut off. regularly getting your hair trimmed will help it stay stronger and healthier

Split ends you HAVE to trim, or else they creep higher & higher. To make ends look sleek any styling serum works.
