Does anybody who works for a corporation find they're like cults?

I work for Quill (Staples) call center and they want everyone to act exactly the same, although they're not direct about it, at least initially. They claim they care for us, but they only care about profits under the "friendly" smiles. What do you think?

I've often described the managers as cults, but I'm not very good at spelling.
