The "written" part is actually taken on a computer and takes about 15-25 minutes. The "driving" part is about 20 to 30 minutes. Your paperwork might take an additional ???????? depending on the line of people in front of you.

The "written" portion is self paced, however it shouldn't take more than 30 min. If you should have to take the driving portion of the test is usually consist of driving around a few blocks, making sure that you make COMPLETE stops, going through a intersection, and parallel parking. Remb. to put on your seat belt and GOOD LUCK.

Check with the Department of Public Safety, the people who administer the test, in your area. They can tell you. Good luck to you or whomever is taking it!
